Kevin S. Fortuin
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Pretoria Westbrook Sports Club
- Since 2015
- English, Afrikaans
I've coached rowing at Pretoria Westbrook Sports Club since 2015. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kevin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
