I've coached wrestling at Kilkenny Boxing Gym since 1984. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Kevin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Kevin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

Thanks for picking me when I was the slowest kid on the team! Greetings from Monterrey.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
