Kevin Daniel Kariuki
First-generation students mentor, Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Learning Hub
- Since 1978
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,540 people through Kasarani Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Kevin: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
