Ketki N. Sawant
Jazz player and teacher in Salem
- 🇮🇳 Salem, Tamil Nadu, India
- Salem Quartet
- Since 2017
- English, Gujarati
I've played jazz since 2017, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ketki
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Ketki: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
