Ketki L. Chavan
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
- The Hope Trades Guild
- Since 1983
- English
I've worked in plumbing since 1983. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,630 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ketki: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
