For 13 years I was the special education teacher at İzmir Public School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Kerem: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
