Kenta Toru Ota
Mural painting and ceramics artist
- 🇯🇵 Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan
- Since 2001
- Japanese
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2001 at Old Crescent Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I'm always reading two books at once.
What gifts mean to Kenta: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
