Kenji Yokoyama

Music and environmental science teacher, Kyoto

  • 🇯🇵 Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan
  • Kyoto Academy
  • Since 1982
  • Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.

More about Kenji

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
