I've been a nurse for 23 years, most of them in cardiology at Allentown Maternity Hospital in Allentown. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
