Kemi Yewande Ogunleye
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- The Andes Gallery
- Since 1988
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1988 at The Andes Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
