Kemi Uche Alabi
Musician with Bayview Choir
- 🇳🇬 Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria
- Bayview Choir
- Since 1994
- English, Yoruba
I play piano and folk music. I started in 1994 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Kemi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
