Kemal Berk Kurt
Choir director and singer
- 🇹🇷 İzmir, İzmir, Türkiye
- 1984 to 2016
- English, Turkish
I play oud and flute. I started in 1984 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Kemal
I wrote my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Kemal: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
