For nine years I was the social studies teacher at São Paulo High School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Kelly
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Kelly: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
