Keith R. Palmer

Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
  • Old San Jose Workshop
  • Since 2004
  • English
My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2004 in San Jose and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You fixed our roof in 2025 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Gwagwalada.
