My subject is anthropology, and for 33 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Southampton State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
