I've been a nurse for 44 years, most of them in palliative care at Bamboo General Hospital in Bonny. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
