Kees Niels Dekker
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
- Orchid Trades Guild
- Since 1980
- Dutch
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1980 in The Hague and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Kees
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Kees: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
