Kees De Bruin
12 years teaching home economics in Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Since 1987
- Dutch
I teach home economics at Elmwood Grammar School in Haarlem since 1987. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Kees
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Kees: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
