I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in school nursing at Sakai Children's Hospital in Sakai. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
