Kayode Gbenga Lasisi

Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices

🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
Badagry Workshop
Since 1987
English, Yoruba

I've worked in tiling since 1987. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,130 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

Tiling

What gifts mean to Kayode: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
