Kayode Garba Ekwueme
Local thatching and plumbing
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Old Lagos Trades Guild
- Since 2016
- English, Igbo
I've worked in thatching since 2016. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 440 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
More about Kayode
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
