Kayode Bolaji Oyelaran
Coached boxing for nine years in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Northside Sports Club
- 2007 to 2016
- English, Igbo
For nine years I ran the boxing program at Kano Northside Sports Club in Kano. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kayode
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Kayode: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
