I've worked in shoemaking from 1996 to 2017. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
