Kato David Kioko

Coached swimming for 17 years in Dodoma

🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
Dodoma Sports Club
1993 to 2010
English

For 17 years I ran the swimming program at Dodoma Sports Club in Dodoma. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Kato

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Kato: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
