Kato Daniel Mbwambo
Teacher at Redwood Technical College, loves home economics

For 43 years I have been the home economics teacher at Redwood Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Kato: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
