Kato Daniel Byaruhanga

Thatching, done properly

  • 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
  • Little Kikuyu Workshop
  • Since 1997
  • English, Swahili
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Kikuyu, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Kato

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Kato: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
