I've been a nurse for 42 years, most of them in surgery at Hillcrest Health Center in Makati. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
