Kathleen A. Velasco
Folk music and sitar teacher
- 🇵🇭 Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines
- Mandaue Choir
- Since 1993
- English, Filipino
I play folk music and sitar. I started in 1993 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Kathleen: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
