For 41 years I've run the boxing program at Frangipani Athletic Club in Los Angeles. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Katherine
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Katherine: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
