Kateryna Milena Yakovlev
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇦 Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine
- The Andes Workshop
- Since 2007
- English, Ukrainian, Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2007. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 970 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
More about Kateryna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kateryna: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
