I taught environmental science at Parkside Technical College in Kharkiv from 1990 to 2006. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Kateryna
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
