Kartika Fani Handoko
Oud player and teacher in Jakarta
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Oakwood Band
- Since 2003
- English, Indonesian
I play oud and songwriting. I started in 2003 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Kartika
I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Kartika: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
