Karl Engel
French and social studies teacher, Cologne
- 🇩🇪 Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Cologne Public School
- Since 2018
- German, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Karl
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I failed French twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Iztapalapa.

You taught me French in 2023 at Cologne Public School. I still remember the end-of-term party
