I've played tabla from 1992 to 2001, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Karl: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
