Kariuki Rashidi Macharia
Teacher at Redwood Technical College, loves music
- 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- 1994 to 2017
- English, Swahili
For 23 years I was the music teacher at Redwood Technical College. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Kariuki
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Kariuki: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
