Kariuki Otieno Kimani
Baseball coach, Kasarani Eastgate Sports Club
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Eastgate Sports Club
- 1987 to 2012
- English, Swahili, Spanish
I coached baseball at Kasarani Eastgate Sports Club from 1987 to 2012. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Kariuki
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Kariuki: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
