Kariuki Kiprop
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Pioneer Workshop
- Since 1992
- English, Spanish
I've worked in auto repair since 1992. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,090 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kariuki: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
