Karina R. Zamora
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico

- 1989 to 2000
- Spanish, French
I've worked in thatching from 1989 to 2000. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
What gifts mean to Karina: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
