Karina R. Montes
Volunteer mentor with Columbus Association
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States
- 2013 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 610 people through Columbus Association.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Karina
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Karina: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
