Karina F. Herrera
Volunteer mentor with Kingsway Community Trust
- 🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States
- Kingsway Community Trust
- Since 2017
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 520 people through Kingsway Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Karina
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Karina: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
