Karim Sumon Sen
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Silverlake Art Collective
- Since 2004
- English, Bengali
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2004 at Silverlake Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I run most mornings.
What gifts mean to Karim: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
