Karim Joy Jahan

Painter, potter and teacher at Old Dhaka Studio

  • 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Old Dhaka Studio
  • 1978 to 1996
  • English, Bengali
I'm a woodcarving artist based in Dhaka. I've been making things from 1978 to 1996 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I make terrible puns.

More about Karim

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
