I've coached football at Kisumu Starlight Swimming Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Karanja
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Karanja: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
