Karanja Mutua Kigozi

Netball and fitness coach, Kinondoni

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Since 1983
  • English, Swahili
I'm a netball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,030 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

More about Karanja

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Karanja: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
