Karanja John Kessy
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Machakos, Machakos, Kenya
- Old Machakos Repairs
- Since 1979
- English, Swahili
I've worked in weaving since 1979. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 2,630 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
