Kaori Tomoko Yamada
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- The Tokyo Works
- Since 1983
- Japanese
I'm a tiling specialist. If you live around Tokyo, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Kaori
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kaori: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
