I've coached hockey at Brookfield Boxing Gym since 2009. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Kanokwan
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Kanokwan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
