Kannan W. Mudaliar
Retired sociology lecturer
- 🇮🇳 Kolkata, West Bengal, India
- 1988 to 2023
- English
I spent 35 years as a lecturer in sociology at Kolkata University in Kolkata. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Kannan: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
