Kana Maruyama

English literature teacher at Liberty Public School, 2005 to 2017

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Liberty Public School
  • 2005 to 2017
  • Japanese
For twelve years I was the English literature teacher at Liberty Public School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Kana

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
