Kamrul Imran Akter
Bass and songwriting teacher
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Ensemble
- 1996 to 2017
- English, Bengali
I play bass and songwriting. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Kamrul
I wrote my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Kamrul: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
